Lumeno 680X LED Magnifier Lamp with 30 SMD LEDs, Clamp, Table Base and Gooseneck, Black or White

A practical helper with outstanding light quality

The Lumeno 680X LED clamp lamp is equipped with 30 high-quality SMD LEDs and impresses with a remarkable brightness of 550 lumens while consuming just 6 watts. The LEDs, arranged evenly around the magnifier, provide ideal illumination of the work area. With a light colour of 6,500 kelvins and a high colour rendering index of CRI>90, the lamp offers daylight-like light and therefore optimal lighting for precise work.

This combination of efficiency and light quality makes the lamp ideal for any task that requires detailed work, whether at work or at home.

Flexible mounting and mobile working

The Lumeno 680X is particularly suited to workspaces with limited space or to mobile working. The lamp can be flexibly attached to tables – either with the sturdy table clamp (for table tops up to 5 cm) or with the included table base. Thanks to the combination of table clamp and stand, the magnifier lamp can be placed anywhere quickly and easily.
The flexible gooseneck lets you align the magnifier individually and precisely. The gooseneck is made of high-quality metal, while the lamp housing is made of lightweight plastic.
This flexibility and the well-thought-out design make mobile use and transport particularly easy.

Optimal magnification for versatile applications

The Lumeno 680X LED magnifier lamp is equipped with a real glass lens measuring 100 mm in diameter, providing a clear and distortion-free field of view.

The magnifier is ideal for precise work in the fields of electronics, crafts, cosmetics and model making. It enables fatigue-free and accurate viewing of small details. The high-quality glass lens ensures high light transmission and minimises optical distortions.

The lens is available in two magnifications:

3 dioptres (1.75x magnification)

  • Working distance: 33 cm
  • Ideal for reading, handicrafts, cosmetics
  • Advantage: large working area at a comfortable distance

5 dioptres (2.25x magnification)

  • Working distance: 20 cm
  • Ideal for electronics, nail design, jewellery making
  • Advantage: optimal compromise between magnification and working distance

The real glass lens can be removed and reinserted easily with one hand. This makes cleaning and replacing the lens easier. Please note that as the magnification power increases, distortions also increase for technical reasons.

Frequently asked questions

Which dioptre strength is right for me?

For most tasks a 3-dioptre lens (1.75x magnification) is the best choice – it gives you plenty of working distance and a large field of view. Only go for 5 or 8 dioptres if you need to see very fine detail: the stronger the lens, the smaller the field of view and working distance become.

Read more in our guide: Which Diopter Strength Is Right for You? Choosing the Correct Power for Your Magnifying Lamp

Do I keep my glasses on while working?

Yes – work with your usual vision correction. Glasses and lens act together: if you already wear strong reading glasses, 3 dioptres is usually the better choice, because too much combined magnification shrinks the field of view and working distance and becomes tiring.

How is the lamp mounted – and is a stand included?

Our articulated-arm magnifying lamps come with a table clamp. A rolling or table stand can simply be selected as a set variant on the product page. Wall brackets and other holders are available as accessories.

How bright does a magnifying lamp need to be?

For close work at a desk, 500 to 1,000 lumens is the usual range. At Lumeno the range runs from 450 lumens on the compact Lambda S to 1,150 lumens on the 851X; the 680X delivers 550 lumens, and the 721X, 8213/8215 and 861X series around 950 lumens each. More important than the number is the distribution: the LEDs sit in a ring around the lens so the workpiece is lit from every side and no hard shadows form - which is exactly why a desk lamp plus a hand-held magnifier rarely does the job.

Is the lamp suitable for continuous professional use?

Yes, that is what these series are built for - in beauty studios, foot care, laboratories and workshops they run for many hours every day. More important than the housing material in the long run is the supply of spare parts: lenses, power supplies, clamps, brackets and stands can all be ordered individually and come from our own service department, which also carries out repairs. A scratched lens or a worn clamp is therefore no reason for a new device.

Where do the lamps come from?

Lumeno is a German brand. Advice, the spare parts store and the repair service are based in Germany, and here you buy directly from the manufacturer rather than through a middleman - which is why matching parts are still available even for older series.

Is the compact clamp lamp enough for my needs?

The 680X is the compact clamp lamp for flexible desk use – well suited to occasional reading and light tasks. For prolonged, fatigue-free work with a large field of view, the articulated-arm series with larger lenses are the better choice.

How we check reviews

The reviews shown here are collected through our review service Judge.me. Every incoming review is automatically matched against the orders placed in our shop. Reviews that can be matched to an order are marked “Verified”; where no purchase could be established, that mark is absent. We carry out no further checks on individual reviews.
